From meeting Wendy at the Florida Wedding Expo to our grand exit, the Yacht Sensation staff showed their full support every step of the way. Wendy invited us on a dinner cruise to help with the stressful task of choosing a venue, and my fiancé and I were instantly sold. We were treated like VIPs, even invited upstairs to meet the captain who was happy to share stories and his genuine love of the Sensation. We knew this atmosphere was exactly what we wanted our guests to experience.
After our initial commitment, there was a lot of waiting. But once we got in touch with Amanda everything fell into place. Though she works in Tampa, she traveled to Clearwater to meet us on the Sensation simply because I wanted to be inside the ship again when making decisions. She listened carefully, answered all our questions with patience, and we felt comfortable discussing personal questions about traditions and our families.
Between then and our rehearsal, Amanda was always available by email and phone and responded promptly and with sincere enthusiasm. It felt like we were the only wedding on her schedule. And when my MoH and I were 45 minutes late to our rehearsal because my dress alterations weren’t finished on time, she wasn’t fazed. She entertained our families while they waited, then ran our rehearsal efficiently, with lots of warmth too.
The day of was nothing short of magical. Every detail was just as we’d envisioned. DJ Paul found every piece of music we’d requested. Amanda coordinated with our cake vendor so we didn’t even have to handle that part of our day. Our photographers worked with the schedule Amanda had planned so that everything happened perfectly, with just enough time to enjoy everything. Captain Stephen kept our guests informed as our route altered to avoid choppy water, and he ensured that dolphins accompanied us on our journey. As we took photos upstairs, Amanda remembered that I’d chosen the scallops for my father and saved some for him. At dinner Jody personally served us at our sweetheart table and made us feel like celebrities. There couldn’t possibly be a more romantic evening.
Like many others have said, our only complaint is that it was too short. Many of our guests have written to say this was the most unique (and FUN) wedding they had ever attended, that it will live on in their hearts forever. Our top priority was that our guests have a good time because we rarely get to see them (they visited from all over the country and abroad) and we knew we wouldn’t have much time to spend with them, so a fantastic experience of their own was key.
The Yacht Sensation went above and beyond the call of duty. I loved that my final memory, just as my bridesmaids stuffed me into our getaway car, is Amanda’s smiling face handing us a bottle of champagne and a gift from the crew, wishing us the best of luck on our new life together. Their card not only celebrated our marriage, but they personalized it by also congratulating me on my recent promotion. They obviously listen to their clients and have profound attention to detail.
In short, the Yacht Sensation is the perfect wedding venue for all couples. Your coordinator will be open and honest and as accommodating as possible, your DJ will find all the right music, and your captain will keep to calm but thrilling seas. No extra decoration is needed, though they welcome as much as you’d like. You will feel like the most special couple on earth.

Our wedding experience on board the YACHT SENSATION was wonderful. We were treated like royalty, from the initial preview dinner to the very end and would recommend this as a wedding package to everyone.
All our guests were very pleased; we received very good comments about the food!! It was handled very professionally.
Amanda and Ms Odom were so helpful. We appreciated Amanda letting us board a little early; as it was so very hot that day and we were "melting".
The only problem was with a few guests who did not RSVP. I would suggest to potential clients, that they emphasize what RSVP means.
THANKS go out to all the servers as well.

We were married aboard the yacht sensation on April 24th last year. We have talked about this amazing event ever since and have told all our friends and family we would have not changed a thing. Everything was absolutely perfect especially for us as a couple.
We came back for our anniversary and the staff treated us as if it was our special day all over again. We will be back year after year to celebrate our anniversary with you.

" We had our wedding ceremony and reception on the Yacht Starship II in April. We had a wonderful time and everything ran smoothly thanks to Brooklyn and the other staff of the Starship. It's a gorgeous spot for a ceremony. Our guests thought the food was good and the bartenders were great as no one had to wait long to get a drink. The dancing was a lot of fun. Everyone had a terrific time. I would definitely recommend this venue!

"Andrew and I had a great experience hosting our wedding and reception aboard Yacht Starship. From day 1 Wendy and Eric assured us they would provide an exceptional worry-free event, they certainly followed through with their promise! They accommodated our every need, so much so that we felt nervous that we weren't as stressed as we thought we should be while planning our wedding.
Eric and the staff took care of it all from setting up the boat decorations, executing the flow events perfectly, timing our boarding music and playing our slideshow. We couldn't be happier with the way our special day turned out, thank you Yacht Starship.
BTW the food and service were amazing. Shout out to Captain Bo for fulfilling our last minute request and taking us to the Skyway Bridge!"

We had a great time and we are still hearing wonderful compliments about the food and all the fun everyone had. I think it was great and you all did a wonderful job and were all so attentive to us, that it was amazing. You guys really go above and beyond in customer service.
The one main thing I was unhappy with was the fact the Captain did not read the vows before he was up there. I knew this because he never announced the fact that we did not want cell phones out during the ceremony and he stumbled over some of the words a few times, so we could tell. Also, I think you all need bigger speakers or surround sound speakers in the ceiling and ones on the upper outside deck. That night we had a few people ask if the music could be turned up, but it was up as high as it could go on the second deck. Otherwise, we were very pleased. Thank you for all you guys did.
